This policy explains what personal data Buildstok (Amir Iqbal, Pakistan) collects through this site, why, and your rights. We collect as little as we can.
What we collect
- Purchases: payments are handled by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. We receive your name, email address, country and what you bought — never your card details. See Paddle’s privacy policy.
- Your account: your email address, your licences and licence keys, your orders and your download history.
- Messages: what you send through the contact form — your name, email and message.
- Newsletter (optional): your email address, only if you tick or enter it to hear about new designs. You can switch this off at any time in your account or by replying to any email.
- Security logs: IP addresses, kept briefly to prevent abuse and limit repeated requests (including free downloads).
Why we use it
- To deliver your software, licence keys and updates, and to let you sign in to your account (to perform our contract with you).
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To email you about new versions of products you own. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To keep the site secure and meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing emails about products you have not bought unless you ask us to.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in to your account (for up to 30 days). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Purchase and licence records are kept for as long as your licence exists and for the period tax law requires. Messages are kept for up to two years. Security logs are kept for a short time.
Who we share it with
Paddle (payments and invoices) and our web host and email provider, which store data on our behalf. We share data with others only where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it (where we do not need to keep it by law), and you can object to how we use it. Email support@buildstok.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes; the date at the top shows the latest version.
