Templates and kits: full terms
These terms apply to every template, section, header, footer and kit from Buildstok, in HTML, Elementor or Bricks format, whether free or paid. Amir Iqbal, trading as Buildstok, keeps the copyright in the designs; you get a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use them in as many websites as you like, for yourself or for clients, including commercial websites. You may change them in any way. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense or share the template files, on their own or bundled into another template, theme, kit or design library, and you may not upload them to marketplaces. Elementor and Bricks kits also need a valid licence for the page builder itself, which you get from Elementor or Bricks.
Apps and software: full terms
This section applies to the self-hosted web applications bought from Buildstok. When you buy a product, Amir Iqbal, trading as Buildstok, grants you a licence on these terms. The software remains our property; you are buying the right to use it.
You may
- Install and use the software on one installation — one live website or server — for your organisation, or for one client.
- Run additional copies of that installation for development, testing or staging.
- Read and change the source code for that installation, and hire someone to change it for you.
- Keep using the version you have for as long as you like, even after your update period ends.
You may not
- Install it on more live sites or servers than you have licences for.
- Sell, share, sublicense, or give away the software or its source code, whether changed or unchanged.
- Offer it to others as a hosted service (SaaS) in which they use the software as their own product.
- Remove copyright notices from the source code.
Updates and support
Each product page states which updates and how much support are included. Renewals extend both. Licence keys connect your installation to updates; keep them private.
Third-party components
Our software includes open-source libraries under their own licences (for example MIT or LGPL), listed in each product’s licences folder. Those licences apply to those components.
Ending the licence
The licence ends if it is refunded or if you break these terms. When it ends, you must stop using the software and delete it. Ending a licence does not affect data you stored in it.
