Using the Elementor kits

Every kit is a set of native Elementor templates (.json files). You import them once, then insert them on any page and edit them in Elementor like your own work.

What you need

  • WordPress 6.4 or newer and Elementor 3.20 or newer.
  • Flexbox Containers turned on (Elementor → Settings → Features). They are on by default on current sites; the templates are built with containers and won't show without them.
  • Elementor Pro for the contact & forms, call to action, footers, headers & navbars, landing pages kits: site headers and footers use the Pro Theme Builder, menus use the Pro Nav Menu widget and contact forms use the Pro Form widget. In the call-to-action kit only CTA 06 (a sign-up form) needs Pro. Every product page says what its kit needs.
  • Built with the classic (V3) editor. Works on V3 and V4 sites.

Import the templates

  1. Download the kit from your email or your account and unzip it. The templates are in the templates/ folder.
  2. In WordPress, go to Templates → Saved Templates and click Import Templates. Choose a .json file and click Import Now. You can also zip several .json files together and import them in one go.
  3. The templates now appear in your template list, ready to insert.

Add a section to a page

  1. Open the page with Elementor.
  2. Click the folder icon (Add Template) and open the My Templates tab.
  3. Find the section and click Insert. Edit the text, links and buttons like any other section.

Build a page from a landing kit

Each landing page comes with its matching header and footer in templates/theme-builder/.

  1. Import the landing page template, and the header and footer with the same number.
  2. Set the header and footer for your site as shown above.
  3. Create a page, choose the Elementor Full Width page layout, open it with Elementor and insert the landing template.
  4. Change the text, swap in your own images and set where the forms send their messages.

Colours, fonts and menus

  • Your site stays untouched. Every design sets its own colours, fonts and spacing on its elements, so importing it never changes your Global Colors, Global Fonts or Site Settings. Change any value in the Elementor panel.
  • Fonts are Google Fonts. If you have turned Google Fonts off (Elementor → Settings → Advanced), the designs fall back to a system font.
  • Images: the designs use no photos. Visual blocks are made from containers, icons and text, so you can keep them or swap in an image.
  • Logos are an icon plus text so they follow your colours. Replace them with the Site Logo widget if you prefer an image.

If something goes wrong

  • The section is empty after inserting: turn on Flexbox Containers in Elementor → Settings → Features, then clear any cache.
  • The import is refused: check your server's upload size limit, and in Elementor → Settings → Advanced allow Unfiltered File Uploads while you import.
  • The header doesn't show on a page: pages set to the Elementor Canvas layout hide the site header and footer on purpose. Use Full Width.
  • The live site looks different from the editor: clear your caching or optimisation plugin's cache.
  • Forms don't arrive: set the form's email actions, and make sure your site can send email (an SMTP plugin helps).

Licence and updates

Use the kits on unlimited websites, your own and your clients'. You can't resell or share the templates themselves. Updates are free for life and appear in your account. See the full licence.
